A Former NBA player for the Boston Celtics and L.A. Clippers, for whom he was also an Emmy-Award-winning color commentator for 19 years, Mike has been an integral part of many money-raises as well as managing investor relations for multiple companies.
Mike’s background includes serving as Vice President of Acquisitions of a Southern California-based large real estate acquisition and management company for many years. He is a seasoned business executive, relationship manager, investor and “obsessive athlete”. Mike was student body president and was All-American football, basketball, volleyball and California State Athlete of the Year. He graduated Cum Laude from Brigham Young University (“BYU”) with a Broadcast and Spanish Major and was a 3 time Academic All-American – 2 time Basketball All American, led the nation in free throw shooting and was a 1988 US Olympic volleyball invitee.
Following college, in 1989, Mike was a first round draft choice, 13th overall pick of the Boston Celtics, and played 4 years in the NBA and 4 years in Europe as well as playing for Magic Johnson’s All-Star touring Team. Following his professional athletic career, Mike was a Sports Broadcaster for Fox Sports Prime Time for 19 years, covering the Los Angeles Clippers Basketball telecasts and events both as a play-by-play man and color commentator.
Mike has been married for 27 years with 10 children and is active in every aspect of his community. Mike is an active community leader and has been leading successful investments ventures since leaving broadcast.
